Coventry Building Society deliver all together, better recruitment
There have been many changes to how Eploy’s ATS is used by Coventry Building Society, adapting to business needs and market changes. The partners recently worked together to refresh the Eploy Candidate Portal and careers site content.
“Throughout this project, our fantastic relationship with Eploy has allowed us to take a collaborative approach between the Coventry Building Society project team, our in-house UX UI design team and Eploy. We had regular reviews to ensure that the project to rebrand the candidate portal to the current design and expand on the existing pages with additional candidate-centric content was delivered as scoped and on time.''

Coventry Building Society is one of the largest Building Societies in the UK and a top ten UK savings and mortgage provider. It has more than 3,000 employees and is still growing and protecting the interests of its members.
A strong partnership has formed after working with Eploy since 2016 when the Society first implemented Eploy’s complete Talent Acquisition Platform.
There have been many changes to how Eploy’s ATS is used by the Society, adapting to business needs and market changes. The partners recently worked together to refresh the Eploy Candidate Portal and careers site content.
Following a company-wide refresh of the employer brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP), there was a requirement to bring the careers site in line with the changes.
The Coventry Building Society EVP was seven years old and no longer reflective of the current work environment and priorities. Alongside this, the Society has worked hard to develop a new employer brand that reflects life at the Society, and wished to update its careers site to reflect this. It’s now a brilliant space that is warm and welcoming, and provides the perfect taster of what it’s like to work at the Society. Updating the careers site and candidate portal would reflect the new employer brand and support the shift in candidate expectations.
The project to refresh the Eploy Candidate Portal and careers site content was delivered by Eploy’s Implementation Team, working alongside the Coventry Building Society team. The teams included the new visual identity across the careers site that was representative of the Society with a fresh approach to demonstrate what it is like to work at Society and why it is all together, better.
Over 200 different candidate touchpoints were also enhanced as part of the project for candidate experience continuity.
Commenting on the launch of the new careers site, Amy Hawkins, Senior Talent Acquisition Manager at the Society, said, “Throughout this project, our fantastic relationship with Eploy has allowed us to take a collaborative approach between the Coventry Building Society project team, our in-house UX UI design team and Eploy. We had regular reviews to ensure that the project to rebrand the candidate portal to the current design and expand on the existing pages with additional candidate-centric content was delivered as scoped and on time.
Working on the look and feel of the careers site to accurately represent Coventry Building Society is key to attracting talented people and sharing who we are. We are immensely proud of the careers site and how this represents a welcoming and inspiring place to work”.
The Eploy Candidate Portal helps to convert prospects to candidates by delivering a straightforward online application journey, integrated into the careers site. Vacancies are presented in the best way possible to help candidates identify and apply for their ideal role. The latest vacancies are dynamically displayed and can be saved or shared, with a seamless candidate experience that mirrors the new identity and employer brand.
Candidates can access their secure profile to see their application progress, pick an interview slot and manage their personal data preferences.
