Recruitment industry professionals attended the annual OnRec Online Recruitment Awards evening on 7th March to celebrate success, innovation, talent and achievements within the Online Recruitment Industry.
Hundreds of guests gathered at the stunning Grange Hotel in London, and what a night it was. After a champagne reception and lavish meal, guests eagerly anticipated the announcement of the winners in each category. David Hurst, the founder of OnRec, was the host for the evening and led the charity auction to raise funds for Whizz Kidz, a UK charity supporting disabled young people.
Nine Eploy customers were nominated across multiple award categories and attended the evening to celebrate their hard work and recruitment achievements.
It was a successful night, as not only did OC&C Strategy Consultants win Best Corporate Graduate Site (pictured right) and Travelodge win Best Online Candidate Experience Awards - Corporate (pictured left), but Eploy were named award winners for Technical Innovation, for the second time in three years! The category had some hot competition, but it was Eploy’s powerful GDPR functionality walked away with the prize in the national supplier category.
Commenting on Travelodge’s success and award win was Rebecca Wilson, Recruitment “Showing people what it's like to work at Travelodge is really important to us, so we’re very pleased with the recognition of our great online candidate experience.”
“Winning the Best Corporate Graduate Site award is a real achievement that we are very proud of. The graduate market in particular is a competitive one and we work hard to secure the best talent - the improved candidate experience with Eploy really complements this.” Melissa Edmondson, Recruitment Officer, OC&C
Chris Bogh, CTO at Eploy added “Working in partnership with our customers is at the heart of everything we do at Eploy, not only throughout the implementation of Eploy but continually as trusted advisors to evolve with our customer requirements. Seeing so many customers nominated is a testament to their recruitment strategies to attract, engage and successfully recruit the best talent. To win the Technical Innovation category for the introduction in 2018 of Eploy’s GDPR suite is superb. Rather than offer a simplistic approach to the new regulations we wanted to give our customers the ability to gain real competitive advantage, to build trust with their candidates and ensure they could nurture candidates in a fully compliant way. With support for multiple consents, data anonymisation, retention plicies and much more we are truly delighted to add to Eploy’s growing list of awards for recruitment technology innovation.”
